ENDOWMENT
What is an Endowment?
It is a permanent fund or account whose assets are invested to generate
earnings to be used by the organization. An endowment contribution is a
gift that keeps on giving. Your gift will be pooled with other gifts and
only the interest may be used to support agency operations.
Memorial or Honorary
Gifts:
BBBSFC has a memorial fund in place to receive donations to honor the
passing of a loved one, or to commemorate the milestone of a living
friend or family member. These gifts are a wonderful tribute to the
important people in your life, and a direct benefit for the children we
serve.

Memorial & Honorary Donations
A
donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters is a thoughtful gift – a living
tribute to a loved one who has died, or a perfect way to honor a living
friend or family member on some special occasion in their life. BBBS
has a Memorial program in place, and it has been a source of funding
that is a direct benefit to the children we serve. Gifts in honor of
the birth of a child, a silver or golden wedding anniversary, or some
other life milestone, as well as gifts that are a living legacy to the
memory of one who has died are a wonderful way to show your affection
and respect when flowers are not enough.
Gifts are tax
deductible and are acknowledged with a card to both the donor, and to
the honoree or their family. A gift on behalf of a loved one goes on
and on by making a difference in the lives of children in our
community. Please remember BBBS the next time you remember or honor a
loved one.
